Very excited to launch this website, a first for me! When it gets up and running the site will be a place for me to write and muse about my twin passions for Hiking and History and to highlight those unique moments and places where the two intersect in interesting and educational ways. Part of this site will be devoted to chronicling my upcoming 2018 Appalachian Trail thru-hike, so stay tuned! Oh, and I will also be learning the art and science of website development/design and blogging as I go (through a lot of trial and error, so please bear with me as I experiment and play around with different ideas) I hope you enjoy the site.
